Rhubarb Bars
Crust Mixture:
1 1/2 cup oatmeal 1 tsp. soda
1 1/2 cup flour 1 cup crisco shortening
1 cup brown sugar

Filling :
3 cups rhubarb 1/4 cup water
1 1/2 cup sugar 2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix crust together and pat 3/4 mixture on bottom of 9x 12 pan. Cook rhubarb, sugar, and vanilla.(untill rhubarb is soft) Dissolve cornstarch in water: add to rhubarb mixture and cook untill rhubarb is done(about 3 more minutes.) Pour on top of crust and add remaining crust mixture. Bake at 350* for 1/2 hour.

YELLOW CAKE RHUBARB   

Mix box of yellow cake according to directions.
Pour 4 cups rhubarb over batter.

Sprinkle 1 cup sugar over rhubarb and then pour 2 cups cream over sugar.

Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes.
